NATIONAL FITNESS LEADERSHIP RECOGNITION

Ann has received national company recognition for her athletic leadership and organizational, volunteer service. An award presentation was held in conjunction with the National Fitness Leaders Award Honoree Ceremony at the Crystal Gateway Marriott near Washington, D. C. The President of the President's Council on Physical Fitness participated in the program and presentation of Ann's national, company established award.

The HAFL AWARD Program was sponsored by Allstate Insurance Company, administrated by JAYCEES and conducted in cooperation with the President's Council on Physical Fitness.

Ann was recognized for her contributions in the promotion of health and fitness in the community. Her significant involvements included her leadership in the single, largest, annual volunteer Olympic Fund-Raising Event in the United States, called the Healthy American Games. With over Forty companies participating each year, the event annually raised $200,000 to $250,000 for the support of our nation's participation in the International Olympic Games.
