Simply Incredulous and Contradictory

After over seventy years of walking this earth,
Bob Uecker has not been truthful about his year of birth.

On baseball cards, his book, biography stats;
All which list his birth year of 1935 as fact.

In court records and testimony he swore,
stating and documenting, January 26, 1934.

Bob Uecker’s imaginary journey, a stalked man;
you were being pursued, when had it began?

Under written affidavit, contradictory sworn oath,
“6 or 7 years ago”; “96 or 97”; he swears to both.

Over thirty five years of Brewer Baseball, spoken,
Bob Uecker is asked the year Miller Park opened?

Repeatedly he swears that the year was 2002;
baffled, bewildered he learns year 2001 is true.
